KATs (Kefalonia Animal Trust) is a registered Greek animal charity, dedicated to the welfare of dogs, cats and other animals on the island.
KATs was founded by Pat & Dave Dolman who thought they were taking early
reitirement and coming to Kefalonia for an easy life. After adopting the first few strays
they soon became animal magnets, the whole thing snowballed and the rest is
history.
KATs received its charity number in 2003 and has been buried under a mountain of
stray animals and requests for help ever since.
